Welcome to The Pearl!

Thank you for staying with us. We’re here to help make sure you have a great stay.

We’re never far away if you need us. Our team is based nearby and available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. If something urgent comes up outside these hours, don’t hesitate to get in touch. For general questions and requests, we’ll be happy to help during office hours.

Our villa office is located at the top of the road. You’ll often see our cleaning and maintenance staff around the property, and they’re always happy to help where they can, although they speak limited English.

We have a high-speed 1,000 Mbps internet connection.

Smart TV/Cable & Netflix
Our TVs are connected to Koh Chang Cable TV, which offers around 40 channels.

We also provide complimentary Netflix access. You can access it using the TV remote control. If you have any problems getting connected, please let us know.

Cleaning & Maintenance
Our cleaners remove rubbish from outside the villa every day. Please leave any rubbish bags just inside the gate for collection. 

We carry out a full clean and change towels and bedding every three days.

We also service the swimming pool twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays at around 9:00 am. This only takes a few minutes. Staff will access the pool area through the side gate and will try not to disturb you, but please don’t be surprised if you see them in the garden.

These arrangements are flexible, so if you have any particular cleaning requirements, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help.

Villa Rules
Smoking is only permitted outdoors
Noise: Please be respectful of neighbours and keep noise to a reasonable level, especially after 11:00 pm.
No extra guests are allowed without prior approval

Beaches
Pearl Beach is a quiet and attractive beach just 100 metres away. Simply turn left as you leave the villas and continue straight down the road to the sea.
The nearest sandy beaches are: Chai Chet Beach – 1.5 km south and
White Sand Beach – 2 km north

We are happy to give you ideas for things to see and do and all kinds of other local info, so just ask. There are handy Koh Chang Maps in the Villas, and you can get an online copy at www.koh-chang-guide.com

Transport
Cars and motorbikes can be rented from two businesses located at the top of the road, and many other places throughout the island.

White share taxis travel frequently around the island and can be flagged down on the main road. Fares to White Sand Beach are typically around 50-60 Baht per person.

Food & Shopping
There are some excellent restaurants nearby, which we’ve marked on the local area map provided in the villa.

The Big C supermarket at the top of the road is very convenient for stocking the kitchen. There are also minimarts all over the island and a large Makro supermarket in White Sand Beach.

We have a Thai/Western restaurant in White Sand Beach called KAPOW! We’d be delighted to welcome you, and we offer a 10% discount to our villa guests for dine-in. We also offer takeaway meals when staffing levels allow. There is a menu in the villa or you can scan this QR code to view it, and then just call us with your order.

Doors, Locks & Security
Koh Chang is a very safe place, but it’s still wise to lock the front and back doors whenever you go out.

To lock the doors, lift the handle upwards and then turn the key.

We also recommend leaving the outside light on when you’re out, as it makes it easier to find your way back in after dark.

Power Cuts & Water
Like many tropical islands, Koh Chang occasionally experiences power outages, particularly during storms. These are usually resolved quickly. If you experience any issues with electricity, water or internet service, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

Check Out
Please let us know your planned departure time the day before you leave so that we can arrange a quick check-out with you.

Check-out time is 11:00 am.

We often have guests arriving on the same day, so we really appreciate your help in checking out on time to allow us to clean and prepare the villa for the next guests.
